2. (WSJ) Under Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), AKA “Fat Jerry,” House Judiciary Committee Lawmakers Prep a Lawsuit to Enforce Subpoena of Don McGahn… Here’s info on McGahn (Wikipedia) So supposedly, McGahn is the most cited witness in the Mueller Report. On May 7, the White House instructed McGahn not to comply with the subpoena issued by the House Judiciary Committee. Don McGahn worked as legal counsel for the Trump campaign, transition team and White House counsel up until Oct 2018. (Interesting side note: McGahn recommended Neil Gorsuch as Supreme Court Justice.) 

   1. EVEN MORE INTERESTING: in spring 2018, Trump reportedly told McGahn that he wanted the Justice Department to prosecute Hillary Clinton and James Comey. McGahn told Trump that he had no authority to order a prosecution and that while he could request an investigation, that too could prompt accusations of abuse of power (BETA!!). McGahn had White House lawyers write a memo to Trump warning that if he asked law enforcement to investigate his rivals, he could face possible impeachment.[42] (WEAK!!) 

   2. McGahn complained to White House chief-of-staff Reince Priebus that Trump was trying to get him to "do crazy sh—." The president responded that McGahn was a "lying bas—" [as in born before parents were married].[44] On June 14, in an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, the President accused Don McGahn of lying to the Mueller probe.[50] Apparenlty McGahn claimed that in June 2017, the president asked McGahn to instruct top Justice Department officials to dismiss special counsel Robert Mueller, and that McGahn refused, instead threatening to resign.[33][34][35][36][37] He left over a year later. 

3. Here’s something evil... (Drudge) Macron gambles on IVF for lesbians… and single women — depending on a cultural shift — honoring a long-standing campaign pledge but risking a backlash from conservative voters. The bill also ends anonymity for sperm donors, who will have to agree to having their identity revealed if their children ask to know their biological father when they turn 18. SO INSANE! The bioethics bill would also allow women to freeze their eggs for non-medical reasons to enhance their chances of having children — it’s the first major societal reform by so-called centrist President Emmanuel Macron. It was delayed while anti-government “yellow vest” protests roiled the country. Only six years ago, former President Francois Hollande’s legislation allowing gay marriage faced strong opposition in a country where the influence of the Catholic Church was thought to have been in decline. But so-called Health Minister Agnes Buzyn said, “This is no longer an issue over which the French want to fight.” She told reporters, “All the studies show children born to gay couples or raised by single women have no particular difficulties.” THAT’S A LIE!

   1. The so-called far-right National Party opposes it. “There is no right to having children,” the party’s vice-president Jordan Bardella said. “Children have a right to have a father and a mother and this law creates children without fathers.”

1. (Drudge) Puerto Rico gov resigns after weeks of protests over obscene chats.. Some referred to as 'Rickyleaks'...  (NBC News) Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rosselló announced his resignation Wednesday days after demonstrators at the island's largest protest in recent history called for his ouster over a scandal involving leaked private chats as well as corruption investigations and arrests. His resignation, effective Aug. 2, came late Wednesday night on a recorded video published on Facebook. "Ricky, te botamos!" ("Ricky, we threw you out!") the jubilant crowd exclaimed after the governor's announcement. Attorneys commissioned by the president of the House of Representatives reportedly found grounds for impeachment, saying Rosselló committed four serious offenses and one misdemeanor, including illicitly using public resources and services for partisan purposes, as well as allowing government officials and contractors to misuse public funds and time for non-government work. 

   1. (Reuters) At first there was no word from the governor as the impeachment process began. Nearly two weeks of protests were spurred by the publication on July 13 of chat messages in which Rosselló and aides used profane language to describe female politicians and so-called “gay” Puerto Rican celebrities, including singer Ricky Martin. On multiple nights, riot police deployed tear gas as people were surrounding the governor’s mansion late at night. At around 10.30 p.m. protest organizers told the crowds to sit down and hold a minute's silence for the more than 3,000 people killed on the island during 2017's Hurricane Maria. The island of 3.2 million people has been rocked by multiple crises in recent years, including a 2017 bankruptcy filing to restructure $120 billion in debt and pension obligations.

2. Speaking of corrupt Islands… (Drudge) COMMUNISM: Cuba Running Out of Medicine… (Breitbart) Cuba is the healthcare darling of the left. (That’s right, Colin Kaepernick had praised Fidel Castro’s communist education, so-called “universal healthcare,” and Castro’s attack on South African whites. Amazing!) Healthcare authorities in Cuba blamed a “complex situation” Tuesday for growing shortages of basic medicines that many in the country need to stay alive, stating that as many as 44 key medications will remain elusive nationwide throughout August. These include beta blockers for high blood pressure, hypertension medications, and antipsychotics. Supposedly they have a shortage of raw materials for making the drugs. Patients and their families are forced to camp out overnight at their local pharmacy before small shipments arrive. One guy also blamed pharmacies for having “only one person at the cash register” when a long line forms, despite the shortages. The country is under tight healthcare rationing (which is what AOC, Obama, and all them want here). In addition to prescription medications, Cuba is facing shortages of “aspirin, bandages, thermometers, hydration salts, rubbing alcohol, and glucose testing strips. Cuba manipulates health statistics to make the communist system appear more successful than it is. The Communist Party’s official newspaper, Granma, said Cuba’s government health workers must face the shortages by offering “love and tenderness” to patients who will now go untreated. The economic crisis on the island has forced Cubans to stand in line for hours to buy basic goods like chicken, cooking oil, and flour. 

   1. Cuba’s communist regime gets money by sending doctors abroad on what doctors who got out of the system call slave missions in exchange for lucrative contracts that fuel the central government in Havana. The Cuban slave doctor system provides healthcare throughout Latin America, Africa, and Asia – and also functions as a propaganda campaign, successfully earning the praise of global institutions and leftist American celebrities (globalists and commies!). 

3. Meanwhile in America… (Drudge) SHORTAGE: Medical students are less likely to become primary care doctors… (Kaiser Health News) A record-high number of primary care positions was offered in the 2019 National Resident Matching Program. But the percentage of primary care positions filled by fourth-year medical students was the lowest on record! 

   1. The three key primary care fields are internal medicine, family medicine and pediatrics. According to the 2019 Match report, over 8,000 internal medicine positions were offered, the highest number on record and the most positions offered within any specialty, but only 41.5% were filled by seniors pursuing their M.D.s from U.S. medical schools. Similar trends were seen this year in family medicine and pediatrics. Ten years ago there appeared to be a surplus. 

   2. The Association of American Medical Colleges predicts a shortage of between 21,100 and 55,200 primary care physicians by 2032. More doctors will be needed in the coming years to care for aging baby boomers, many of whom have multiple chronic conditions. The obesity rate is also increasing, which portends more people with chronic health problems.

(Drudge) Inside reports of deaths, sickness that have consumed Dominican Republic… (NY Post) In past few months, the beach oasis has been battered by a steady stream of disturbing reports about tourist deaths, sudden illness and violent assaults. At least 36 (or 16...they say both numbers, confusingly) Americans have died on the island since January 2018 — and many more have been plagued by “nightmare” illnesses. More than 2.7 million US tourists travel each year to the Caribbean nation. With some high profile incidents: Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz’s shooting and a Delaware woman’s alleged hours-long assault... Tourism has taken a massive hit, with the number of trips booked for July and August plummeting by more than 74 percent. The hysteria started in May after a Prince George’s County, MD couple was found dead in their room five days after they checked into the hotel on May 25. The day their bodies were found, a Pennsylvania woman died at another luxury property under the same resort chain — she had a drink from the minibar in her hotel room, then fatally collapsed in front of her husband, according to her family, in a similar-listed cause of death as the couple. They have a bunch of stories compiled in this article — sudden deaths, crazy sicknesses from drinks at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, grisly assaults and rapes, a mysterious car wreck when a car went missing after apparently going off a cliff, a woman drowning after a rip tide dragging her to sea, and deadly cosmetic procedures! 

2. Speaking of heat… (Drudge) Europe sweats as another record-breaking heat wave rolls in… STAY COOL GUYS! (AP) Belgium and Germany registered their highest-ever temperatures, while the Netherlands saw its hottest day in 75 years. And it may get hotter. Paris and other parts of France could see temperatures exceeding 40 C (104 F) on Thursday along with Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Switzerland. The heat puts pressure on authorities to help protect the elderly and the sick. Air conditioning is not common at homes, offices, schools or hospitals in European cities. It’s also aggravating droughts since it hasn’t rained much in many parts of Europe this summer. It’s hot dry air coming from northern Africa. Of course they include speculation about whether so-called climate change caused it but they don’t know. 

3. (Drudge) Boris Picks Team for Brexit Battle… Do y’all have faith in him? He’s no Trump. But I hope y’all can pull it off! (WSJ) Boris Johnson assembled a team of mainly euroskeptic ministers to prepare an all-out push to get the U.K. out of the European Union, replacing more than half of his predecessor’s cabinet as he took over as British prime minister. (Europskeptic!) He gave foreign secretary and home secretary roles to loyalists who said they’re unafraid to exit the EU abruptly by Oct. 31 as promised without a “divorce deal.” 

4. Here’s some mess! (Drudge) New HBO Series Has Redford As POTUS and White Supremacy Ruling The Land… HBO IS TRASH, DON’T WATCH IT. Set to debut in October, the Tulsa-based series Watchmen, late 80s comic-book series, focuses on a police officer in a world where cops wear masks, a very liberal Robert Redford is the longest-serving POTUS ever, there are no Internet or smartphones and a killer cult has cropped up. “What in 2019 is the equivalent of the nuclear standoff between the Americans and the Russians?” some guy asked. “It is race and the police,” he said. “There is no defeating white supremacy — it’s not going away,” a guy explained of the hate groups that populate the nine-episode Watchmen. “There are no easy answers and grandiose solution.” It’s dumb.

(The American Mirror) “[Friday], a group of 47 undocumented individuals attempted to illegally enter the United States in three waves via the Pharr International Bridge. Ignoring commands to stop, the group suddenly rushed the temporary barricades, bent metal poles and disabled the concertina wire affixed to the barrier,” CBP said in a news release. Why are they not calling them by their legal name? Illegal aliens! 

Several males began assaulting officers and attempted to grab the officers’ protective devices. Agents deployed tear gas and pepperball launching systems in efforts to stop the group. Mexican officials assisted with apprehending the perpetrators. Two will be charged with “interference,” according to CBS 4. 

A video from El Cortadito Web on YouTube was titled, “Un grupo de cubanos que intenta cruzar la frontera ilegalmente son golpeados por la patrulla fronter” (Translation: A group of Cubans(?) trying to cross the border illegally are fighting with the border patrol.)

  (CBS Chicago) The event, East Side Community Day in Chicago, was organized by a chamber of commerce comprised of over 25 East Side businesses.  A representative said they never would have imaged their event would cause commotion. 

  “It was not meant in a negative way at all towards law enforcement,” said Anthony Martinez, who leads the Chicago chapter of Los Brown Berets, a nationwide activist group aimed at overcoming so-called inequalities against Chicanos. His organization bought a Batman piñata and transformed it into a Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer. 

  “We’re just making a statement” that the federal government’s recent actions regarding deportation are wrong, Martinez said.

  “Taking children from their parents, separating them,” Martinez added.

  At the same event, children were offered a chance to throw balls at a painted image of President Trump.

 The event was meant to be fun and family-oriented and is now creating factions within the community. Martinez said the proceeds from the controversial kids’ activities will go towards helping asylum seekers.

Stephen from Chicago can’t agree with the notion of deporting people. To him its uprooting people from the lives they started here. He says you can’t generalize people for being quote-unquote “illegal.” James wonders why Stephen is for ill-gotten gains. Stephen seems unable to understand that every illegal gains wealth by hurting Americans. The caller goes on to blame the president for hiring illegals which is him just nitpicking. How is the billionaire gonna know everything about a housekeeper that lies.

Nick from St. Louis comments on the clip that James played about ICE. Caller remarks on how the clip reminded him about Napoleon Dynamite. Nick speaks on reality imitating fiction sometimes. James asks him if he believes what happened in the clip really happened? 

Rachel from California talks about Stephan and his claim that illegals help America. She corrects him and talks about first hand accounts of these Mexicans working at her workplace brazenly talking about hating America and taking what they can.

Alex from San Antonio corrects Stephan when he said that they don’t use taxpayer services. Alex mentions hospitals that help without question, schools that give aid to “undocumenteds.” James mentions the Obama policies that ripped open a gaping wound at the southern border. Alex wonders if he is even in America sometimes when he goes through some areas in LA.

Josh from Texas asks James if he checked out something they had previously talked about. Josh touches on 9/11 and mentions the possibility of the case being reopened. They touch on all the things Trump wants to do but is blocked from doing so. Josh thinks presidents are selected not elected and thinks the same for Trump. The caller accuses Trump of not doing anything he said he would. 

KT from Washington DC took his son out for a walk at the park and he thought to himself, “I am in South America.” James talks about being in South Carolina looking like Mexico too. KT touches on the difference between westernized and non westernized women. He mentions both are still women so you have to deal with all those feminine traits, but the foreign women don’t have that whole “SJW” “leftie” side to them. KT touches on the MGTOW, PUA, “red pill” types and understands where they are coming from but knows that they ultimately hate women. James knows that American women need men really badly right now and touches on the push for interracial dating. James urges men not to pass over western women just because they are brainwashed. The solution is in the individual. 

Mike from New York comments on a previous callers comments about some parts of the USA turning into Guatemala. He believes all POCs are “encroaching” on his community. He says they bring their poor behaviour with them. They are automatic socialists coming here to recreate what they fled. They touch on women and their influence on politics.

Dems Condemn Imaginary "Racism" in Trump Tweets (Hake News, Wed, Jul 17, 2019)

TOP OF FIRST HOUR NEWS: Wednesday, July 17, 2019 – (Happy Birthday to me!) 

1. (Drudge) HOUSE CONDEMNS (NBC News) The Democrat-controlled House of Representatives passed a resolution with votes to condemn Trump’s quote-unquote 'racist comments' about four Democrat women “of color,” with 235 Democrats and only four Republicans backing the measure (NAMES, PLEASE!). The resolution states that the House "strongly condemns President Donald Trump's racist comments that have legitimized and increased fear and hatred of new Americans and people of color," supported by these Republicans Representatives: Will Hurd of Texas, Fred Upton of Michigan, Susan Brooks of Indiana, and Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania. RINOs! ALSO: Rep. Justin Amash of Michigan, who announced his departure from the Republican Party on the fourth of July in Washington Compost, also voted for the resolution. After the vote, Rep. Al Green, D-Texas (HE BLACK), introduced articles of impeachment against Trump on the House floor in a bid to force a vote on the issue. It was not taken up Tuesday. A DISGRACE TO TEXAS! 

   1. The vote was delayed for hours following GOP complaints that Speaker Nancy Pelosi's remarks had violated House rules. (Fox News) FLOOR FIGHT ERUPTS before Pelosi's remarks were ruled out of order, after she falsely claimed Trump's comments were 'racist.'  Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., asked Pelosi whether she would like to "rephrase her comment." House members are barred from making disparaging remarks about the president on the House floor. Pelosi claimed she cleared her remarks with the parliamentarian. After an hour, presiding chairman, Emanuel Cleaver, D-Mo. (He Black), up and left. Afterward House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer of Maryland took the chair and announced that Pelosi's comments had been found "not in order." But Democrats voted not to strike her disgraceful comments from the record, and to let her keep talking after an almost two-hour delay! 

   2. Get ready to laugh: Rep. John Lewis, D.-Ga., said in fiery remarks, "Segregationists told us to go back. I know racism when I see it. I know racism when I feel it.” (HE FEELS RACIST?) John Lewis, who is no hero, goes on: “The world is watching. They are shocked and dismayed because it seems we have lost our way." (SPEAK FOR YOURSELF!) 

   3. President Trump tweeted: So great to see how unified the Republican Party was on today’s vote concerning statements I made about four Democrat Congresswomen. If you really want to see statements, look at the horrible things they said about our Country, Israel, and much more. They are now the top, most... ....visible members of the House Democrats, who are now wedded to this bitterness and hate. The Republican vote was 187-4. Wow! Also, this was the first time since 1984 that the Speaker of the House was ruled Out of Order and broke the Rules of the House. Quite a day! 

2. (Drudge) POLL: Republican support for Trump rises after [so-called] racially charged tweets… NICE, thank you, normal Republican voters!! A Reuters/Ipsos public opinion poll shows that The Great White Hope’s net approval among members of his Republican Party rose by 5 percentage points to 72%, compared with a similar poll that ran last week. He has lost support, however, with Democrats and independents. About three out of 10 so-called “independents” said they approved of Trump, down from four out of 10 a week ago. His net approval dropped by 2 points among Democrats in the poll. Overall approval was unchanged: 41% of the U.S. public said they approved of his performance in office, while 55% disapproved. 

   1. When President Trump accurately portrayed the violence on many sides and fine people on both sides of the Charlottesville Antifa riot against the mostly peaceful Alt-Right rally back in 2017, Trump’s net approval dropped by about 10 points the week after that Charlottesville rally. But he stood on the truth, so good for him.

TOP OF SECOND HOUR NEWS: Wednesday! (I falsely said Tuesday!), July 17, 2019 – 

1. WARNING: GRAPHIC: (Drudge) MS-13 gang members indicted after 'medieval-style' killing spree in LA.... They allegedly hacked to death seven people in the last two years, including a rival gang member who was dismembered and had his Heart cut from his chest…  by six MS-13 soldiers (I don’t know why they called them soldiers, but that’s the word they used) in the Angeles National Forest for defacing the gang’s graffiti, federal authorities alleged in an indictment unsealed Tuesday. (Herald Mail Media) Twenty-two people allegedly affiliated with the gang’s Fulton clique in the San Fernando Valley were indicted by a grand jury on racketeering charges that include nearly 200 criminal acts, committed across several states over nine years. Four people were killed in the Angeles National Forest by members of the Fulton clique wielding machetes, baseball bats and knives, the indictment alleges. They were also tied to a slaying in the Malibu hills and another in Whitsett Fields Park in North Hollywood. Sixteen of the 22 people indicted are charged in connection with those six slayings, which authorities called so “heinous, cruel or depraved” that the defendants are eligible for the death penalty. Prosecutors have not said whether they intend to seek it. Most of them were arrested in the past year, some just the past few days, including one in Oklahoma! 

   1. Law enforcement said the two-year spasm of violence was carried out largely by Honduran and Salvadoran so-called “immigrants” hoping to return MS-13 to its bloody roots — the bloodshed was motivated in part by the group’s desire to make MS-13 less deferential to the Mexican Mafia, which wields influence over most Hispanic and Latino street gangs in the Los Angeles area. Of the 22 defendants, 19 had entered the United States illegally in the past three or four years, per a US attorney. Many alleged victims had entered recently as well, but this doesn’t say most. Three shot to death a homeless man, Bradley Hanaway (a white man, I believe) who was staying at a park. They lured one guy into the forest using a fake female Facebook profile. One 16-y-o was lured to the Lake Balboa area by two female associates of MS-13, and then beaten to death in 2017. 

   2. Herald Mail Media says MS-13 was a “boogeyman” for Trump. The DOJ considers MS-13 one of the most violent transnational criminal organizations in the country. In 2011, MS-13 reportedly had 1000 members active in L.A. Last year, L.A. reportedly had 700 to 800. 

2. (Drudge) Trans murders in Honduras stoke fears of backlash against LGBT… (Reuters) Twenty-one LGBT+ people have been murdered since January. (NBC News) At least 3 trans women (meaning men pretending to be women) were shot and killed in Honduras in the first week of July. An LGBTQ human rights activist said, “Trans people in Honduras are viewed as the lowest of the low; they’re seen as horrible people; and when they are visible and vocal, people take it as an invitation to kill them.” Honduras, which along with El Salvador and Guatemala composes Central America’s so-called Northern Triangle, is one of the deadliest countries in the world. Though the country’s homicide rate has vastly decreased, it remains one of the highest, with 40 people per 100,000 killed in 2018. 

3. (Drudge) Kellyanne asks a reporter: 'What's your ethnicity?' (NBC News) Kellyanne was repeatedly asked what Trump meant when he tweeted earlier this week that the so-called progressive congresswomen should "go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came." From there, the exchange turned into a tense back-and-forth.

In January, a CBS News poll found nearly 6 in 10 Americans saying race relations in the country are generally bad.  After Obama’s election, 66% of Americans said race relations were generally good in an April 2009. But views started to sour in 2014 following a number of high-profile shootings of black males by police officers and have continued to be more negative than positive under Trump. 56% of so-called Americans think Trump has made race relations worse. Napa Valley Register tells the story of a man featured by Gov. Gavin Newsom, Dr. Bryan Ruiz, whose $300,000 in medical school loans he took out to become a dentist were being wiped away by California taxpayers. He was at a community health clinic that primarily serves low-income Medi-Cal patients. Ruiz was among the first physicians and dentists told this month that their medical school debt was being paid off by the state. In exchange, doctors must pledge that at least 30% of their caseloads will be devoted to Medi-Cal patients for five years. “He’s committed his life to this kind of service, and that’s what our loan repayment program is about,” Gov. Gavin Newsom said of Ruiz at a news conference last week touting healthcare investments in the newly enacted California budget. “If you support providing quality care to Medi-Cal patients, we are going to support your journey by providing a little bit of relief on these loans.” California will spend $340 million paying off doctors’ debts using Proposition 56 tobacco tax revenue. This month, the state offered its first awards — 40 dentists received $10.5 million in debt relief while 247 physicians received $58.6 million.

1. It’s that time of year again! (Drudge & Chicago Tribune) Most violent weekend in Chicago this year: At least 52 shot, 9-10 killed… More than half the victims were wounded during 12-hours from Friday evening to Saturday morning when 31 were shot, at least 4 killed on the West and South sides. Also at least one other person was fatally stabbed. Violence typically spikes during summer months (winters are cold!) — this past weekend surpassed Memorial Day weekend when 43 were shot, 7 of them fatally. Targeted patrols where police suspected gang retaliation may take place yielded 19 arrests and 81 illegal weapons seized Friday night. They’re trying to solve the cases but 75-82% of their homicides go unsolved, unpunished (nationwide only 40% go unsolved).

   1. Two black men, ages 22 & 25, were found dead around 6am Sunday morning inside a car hit by at least a dozen bullets (in the 100 block of West North Ave), the driver shot in the back several times, and the passenger also shot several times.

   2. Less than two hours earlier, a black woman was shot in the chest and killed on the South Side.

   3. Lots of people shot and hospitalized, from ages 16 to late 20s, some stabilized, others in critical condition.

   4. A man in a woman in a car started arguing; the man pepper sprayed the woman and shot her leg! She was taken to the hospital in so-called “good condition.”

2. (Drudge) Rat infestation at LA City Hall linked to homeless encampments… YOU THINK? (LA Times) Filth from homeless camps is luring rats to L.A. City Hall. (Oh there were already rats there, it’s called the mayor and city council!) When city workers complained, most city officials said little about whether the problem was connected to several homeless camps right outside. But a newly uncovered report from a pest control company hired by the city has raised fresh questions about whether officials wrongly downplayed that possibility during discussions at City Council meetings. I TOLD YOU!

   1. CatsUSA Pest Control, brought in to assess areas outside City Hall and nearby buildings, warned that homeless people create “harborage for rodents,” according to the report issued Dec. 28 (5 months ago!) and obtained last month through a public records request by a frequent critic of City Hall. (Of course!) The company said it found “poor sanitary conditions” — including leftover food, human waste and hypodermic needles — and recommended that the city clear away the homeless population living in the Civic Center.

   2. There are pits covered by metal grates surrounding City Hall. The building & construction maintenance superintendent wrote, “The homeless are using the grated areas above the pits as their bathroom and relieving themselves. This is also attracting the rats. Custodial will need to do some hazmat cleaning of the grates and the pits. There are even hypodermic needles being tossed in the pits along with human waste and other garbage.”

   3. Some tried to blame demolition of Parker Center, the former L.A. Police Department headquarters. But one councilman who says he was unaware of the report said he always blamed the homeless! Councilman Joe Buscaino said he worked on skid row as a police officer, and done cleanups as a councilman.

   4. Meanwhile, Council President Herb Wesson four months ago (this report was 5 months ago!) had cautioned against blaming the homeless, “I do not want to have people who are unfortunately living on the streets blamed for something that they might not have anything to do with, but they're just an easy target." What a liberal BETA MALE!

3. (Drudge & CBS Sacramento) Residents In CA Neighborhood near Sacramento Find Cats Sliced In Half, Decapitated… SATANISM! OR JEFFREY DAHMER? These are family pets being killed in some cases! (Drudge) HARD TIME: California's jails are so bad some inmates beg to go to prison instead… (Herald Mail Media) One guy who stole his first car at age 10 is now 35, has served in 8 different California prisons, but he’s suing Sacramento County because his hardest time was Sacramento County Jail where he was sentenced to 8 years for burglary, ID theft, etc. He claims he had untreated glaucoma that left him legally blind, he frequently got windowless solitary confinement and heard voices, couldn’t get mental health help, tried to commit suicide, so he’s accusing them of subjecting inmates to inhumane conditions.

   1. People are serving time in jails instead of prisons to reduce prison overcrowding, to keep people closer to home, and give opportunities for education and training. But it doesn’t work out that way in urban counties. The jails weren’t meant to handle long-term & violent inmates, many with chronic health & mental issues.

   2. Statewide, assaults on jailers increased almost 90% from 2010, the year before prison downsizing began, to 2017! Medical spending jumped to $64 million in 2017 from $38 million in 2010. Legal challenges over inmate treatment have expanded to about a dozen county jails.

   3. Deaths in California jails jumped by 26% in the years after they started receiving long-term inmates, peaking at 153 in 2014 before falling to 133 in 2017. That year, California had 17.7 deaths per 10,000 inmates; Texas, which has the second largest jail population, had 13.2.

   4. Idiot voters have decided that prison populations with disproportionate numbers of “people of color” represent “outdated” “tough-on-crime” policies. Obama let criminals out. Liberal judges let criminals out in California and around the country. They pretend crime hasn’t increased, even though homelessness has exploded.

2. (Drudge) SAFRICA: Prominent white farmer killed following land grab dispute… WHOA. (The South African) After expressing concerns about land grabs on his property earlier this year, Stefan Smit has fell victim to a farm murder on his Stellenbosch estate this weekend. He was interviewed by the New York Times in March about the threat of land confiscation without compensation. He owns vineyards. People from a nearby township began erecting shacks in the back of his farm. The farmer was forced to get a court interdict against the squatters. Four armed men gained access to the wine estate via an unlocked door, before opening fire on the 62-year-old. His wife and a family friend survived the attack.

   1. In his March NY Times interview he’d said, “I, personally, can’t breathe here. They are bringing people down here like fodder. I have never spoken to the people myself, not directly. You don’t do that. It’s not un-dangerous. It’s not advisable. I have received threats before, where they said they would burn me alive.”

   2. His nephew tweeted after his murder: “In one day in South Africa: - My father on crutches is almost robbed of his phone and wallet. - My uncle is murdered on his farm in Stellenbosch which has been in the family since 1896.”

   3. Police have made no arrests, but are “investigating.” Black-on-white farm attacks are happening all the time (as well as black-on-black murders like crazy period); it’s only news now because he was somewhat known.

(Drudge) Baltimore mayor suggests boxing bouts to settle street beefs… (Baltimore Sun) The day after a teenager was killed and four others were injured in shootings in Baltimore, Mayor Bernard C. “Jack” Young suggested mediation as one option, or lacing up boxing gloves and slugging it out! “If they want to really settle them, we can have them down at the Civic Center [now called Royal Farms Arena], put a boxing ring up, let them go and box it out, those kind of things,” Young said. “[May] the best man win, and the beef should be over. Those are some kinds of things I’m thinking about, and hoping that we can get these people to put these guns down.”

As you all know: The Catch and Release process often entails federal immigration officials busing border crossers into nearby border cities and dropping them off with the promise that they will show up for their immigration and asylum hearings, sometimes years later. The overwhelming majority of border crossers and illegal aliens are never deported from the country once they are released into the U.S.

Then Trump accused the Northern Triangle countries of doing “nothing” and threatened to cancel aid to all three plus close the U.S.-Mexico border entirely. “We’re not paying them anymore because they haven’t done a thing for us,” Trump declared. Nielsen blamed “outdated laws, misguided court decisions, and a massive backlog of cases” for the migration spike.

People with no religion accounted for 23.1% of the population in 2018. Catholics make up 23% and Evangelicals account for 22.5%. So they’re all tied statistically. Mainline Protestant Christianity has seen a 62.5% decline in believers since 1982, to now account for just 10.8% of the U.S. population. The General Social Survey has tracked a broad swath of American trends since 1972.

   1. Some professor thinks one reason is “many people used to lie about what they were. Many people were (always) atheist or non-religious, but it was previously culturally unacceptable to not have a religion in America.” Another was “moderate Christians who were moderately attached said they didn't want to defend Jerry Falwell … and all the anti-gay and anti- abortion religious rights leaders. So they said, 'You know what? I'm out.'” That’s Ryan Burge, a political science professor at Eastern Illinois University.

2. (Drudge) Third visitor dies this week from Grand Canyon fall… (USA Today) Wednesday at around 11:30 a.m., park rangers were notified that a man had fallen over the edge — he died. Rangers found the body of a 67-year-old man about 400 feet below the rim. On March 26, a body identified as a possible foreign visitor was found in a wooded area south of the Grand Canyon Village away from the rim — cause of death under investigation.  Two days later, a 50-year-old tourist from Hong Kong fell into the canyon while trying to take photos at Grand Canyon West at Eagle Point, an area close to the famous Skywalk attraction. Officials urged people to keep a safe distance away from the edge of the canyon, be extra cautious when taking pictures, and stand behind railings at overlooks. What a shame.

3. (Drudge) Cruelty charges for evicted man who abandoned FISH! (WECT) In North Carolina, the suspect allegedly failed to provide fresh water and food to his pet fish and abandoned it after he was evicted from his home last month. Michael Ray Hinson, 53, was taken into custody on Wednesday and charged with three counts of misdemeanor cruelty to animals and one count of abandonment of an animal. He was evicted from his home March 22, and deputies visited the home and found an Oscar fish in dirty water and in poor health. When deputies seized the fish, it appeared to be malnourished and suffering from hole in the head disease which is caused by poor water quality and lack of food. It’s being nursed back to health. Ethan Lane of The Fish Room says “Hole in the head is a parasite that starts in the intestines and works from the inside out, slowly killing the fish.” it forms lesions on the fish’s skin, allowing bacteria to get inside.

4. (Drudge) 45-year-old elephant on death row gets execution stay… (ITW) A “problem elephant” in South Africa. Saving the elephants but not the whites! Riff Raff, a 40-45 year-old bull elephant, was due to be shot after causing a nuisance to locals who wanted him killed to stop their fences being repeatedly trampled on. (They need a wall to keep out the riff raff.) Acting deputy judge president Mr Justice M.G. Phatudi listened to animal rights campaigners who had been calling for the elephant to be relocated rather than destroyed. He supposedly broke the fence ‘cause he was thirsty.
