BTW: (Mentioned during super chats 2nd hour JLP Tue. 5/9/23 before break…) Reminds me… I overheard a white(?) lady talking about an Chinese or Asian woman telling her that Americans are lazy and take too many breaks, and that a kitchen redo shouldn’t take three months — she got her whole house done in a few weeks. (They talked about quality work vs. Chinese prefab cabinets, how some days the company doesn’t send workers). The lady was thinking, “Excuse me? If it were the other way around it’d be a problem if I told her that about her culture.”

ALSO BTW: I wore this White History Month tee the other year out on my walk around this neighborhood, and walked by a relatively young Asian dude on the sidewalk, and he thumped his chest with his fist (“secondary knuckles” [? interphalangeal (IP) joints] toward the chest) in solidarity (pardon the commie buzzword, I’m wanting for a better term — in support)
