But it’s prompting some [WOMAN WORD ALERT] complicated feelings (the doll’s basket isn’t woven in a traditional Cherokee pattern; she doesn’t have signature jewelry: clay bead necklaces, she was one of the first to wear a gorget publicly; they consulted her husband and friend, but not her only surviving daughter who’s sour grapes).
