George Washington’s Thanksgiving Proclamation (1789)…

(Revolver.News) Thanksgiving Proclamation of 1789 · George Washington's Mount Vernon .org

By the President of the United States of America, a Proclamation.

Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor-- and whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested me to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness. [EVEN THOUGH THAT’S GONE NOW, WE SQUANDERED IT]

Now therefore I do recommend and assign Thursday the 26th day of November next to be devoted by the People of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be-- That we may then all unite in rendering unto him our sincere and humble thanks--for his kind care and protection of the People of this Country previous to their becoming a Nation--for the signal and manifold mercies, and the favorable interpositions of his Providence which we experienced in the course and conclusion of the late war--for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty, which we have since enjoyed--for the peaceable and rational manner, in which we have been enabled to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national One now lately instituted--for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed; and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and in general for all the great and various favors which he hath been pleased to confer upon us.

and also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech him to pardon our national and other transgressions-- to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually--to render our national government a blessing to all the people, by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed--to protect and guide all Sovereigns and Nations (especially such as have shewn kindness unto us) and to bless them with good government, peace, and concord--To promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the encrease of science among them and us--and generally to grant unto all Mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as he alone knows to be best.

Given under my hand at the City of New York the third day of October in the year of our Lord 1789.

Go: Washington

Washington issued a proclamation on October 3, 1789, designating Thursday, November 26 as a national day of thanks. In his proclamation, Washington declared that the necessity for such a day sprung from the Almighty’s care of Americans prior to the Revolution, assistance to them in achieving independence, and help in establishing the constitutional government.

Dutch election exit polls show major victory for far-right | The Hill

(Revolver News, Nov 22 from the Far-Left Hill) Geert Wilders, a far-right, anti-Islam populist, appears to be heading for a major parliamentary election victory in the Netherlands, which would mark one of the biggest election upsets for Dutch politics in decades, according to local news reports.

NOT READ: An exit poll published by national broadcaster NOS showed Geert Wilders is expected to reach 35 seats in the 150-seat lower house of parliament, more than double the number of seats he reached in 2021. He is followed by Frans Timmermans’s Labour/Green Left combination, who is 10 seats behind Wilders.

The Great Puritan Migration - History of Massachusetts .org Blog

(Posted in 2017, shared by Revolver News) The Great Puritan Migration was a period in the 17th century during which English puritans migrated to New England, the Chesapeake and the West Indies.

English migration to Massachusetts consisted of a few hundred pilgrims who went to Plymouth Colony in the 1620s and between 13,000 and 21,000 emigrants who went to the Massachusetts Bay Colony between 1630 and 1642.

The Puritans left England primarily due to religious persecution but also for economic reasons…. England was in religious turmoil in the early 17th century, the religious climate was hostile and threatening, especially towards religious nonconformists like the puritans.

The puritans were a sect of religious dissidents (similar to GROYPERS, except normal Christians, not Catholic) who felt the Church of England was too closely associated with the Catholic religion and needed to be reformed.

There were two different types of Puritans at the time: separatists and non-separatists. The non-separatist Puritans wanted to remain in the church and reform it from within. The separatist Puritans felt the church was too corrupt to reform and instead wanted to separate from it.

This was problematic for the separatists because, at that time, the church and state were one in England and the act of separating from the Church of England was considered treasonous.

This prompted the separatists to leave England for the New World in order to escape potential punishment for their beliefs and to be able to worship more freely.

In 1607, a sect of separatists from Yorkshire left England and moved to Leiden, Holland in search of religious freedom. Although they found freedom there, they eventually tired of their grueling jobs in Holland’s cloth industry.

In 1619, after living in Holland for 12 years, these separatists sought out investors in England who would be willing to finance their journey to the New World.

The group made a deal with the Plymouth Company who promised to finance their trip to North America to establish a colony. In return, the colony would repay the company by harvesting supplies, such as fur, timber and fish, to send back to England.

In September of 1620, the separatists traveled to the New World on a rented cargo ship called the Mayflower and landed off the coast of Massachusetts in November, where they established Plymouth Colony, the first colony in New England. This event marks the beginning of the Great Puritan Migration. (AND ON AND ON IT WENT! I AM PRO-COLONIES!)

Tucker’s terrifying interview with an American political prisoner | Blaze Media

(Revolver News, The Blaze, Nov 21, 2023) Douglass Mackey was convicted of a felony for making a 2016 election meme. But the joke is on the rule of law.

Tucker Carlson sat down with Douglass Mackey (AKA Ricky Vaughn) last week to discuss his upcoming seven-month sentence to the un-American gulag.

He posted a fake Hillary Clinton ad:

Save Time / Avoid The Line / Vote from home / Text “Hillary” to 59925 / and we’ll make history together / This November 8th. /

NOT READ: [Small print] MUST BE 18 OR OLDER TO YOTE. ONE VOTE PER PERSON. MUST BE A LEGAL CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES.

VOTE BY TEXT NOT AVAILABLE IN GUAM, PUERTO RICO, ALASKA OR HAWAII PAID FOR BY HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT 2016.

For that meme, Mackey was convicted of a felony and will serve seven months in a federal penitentiary.

No one has alleged Mackey made money with the account.

The InJustice Department charged Mackey in 2021 with several counts of conspiracy against rights. However, the government could not produce a single voter who was swayed by Mackey’s meme.

“One of the foundational rights we hold as Americans, a right that many fought so hard to obtain, is the right to vote. The defendant weaponized disinformation in a dangerous scheme to stop targeted groups, including black and brown people and women, from participating in our democracy,” declared United States Attorney Breon Peace. (WHO DAT?)

Mackey didn’t even create these memes! — he reposted them after finding them floating around the Internet. A man headed to prison for sharing a joke meme.

Reason magazine in 2013 used the same joke in a headline. Left-wing “comedian” Kristina Wong made the same joke at the expense of Trump voters — She still has the tweet up! Pulitzer Prize finalist, too! … A clip from 2012, then-Vice President Joe Biden clearly subverted democracy by telling David Letterman, “Early voters will receive a $5 million donation from Donald Trump.” (Trump was quite anti-Obama at that point — he was a “birther,” ha! Based Boomer!)

Hillary Clinton gave an interview cheering Mackey’s arrest. ….
