(Extreme-left anti-Trump AP so-called News) — Despite White House claims, the U.S. still lacks a comprehensive battle plan against the coronavirus in critical areas including masks, testing, treatments and vaccines, supposed whistleblower Rick Bright warned Thursday in testimony before a House committee. “Our window of opportunity is closing,” he declared. WHAT’S HE TALKING ABOUT?? The nation could face “the darkest winter in modern history” if the virus rebounds, the government vaccine scientist told lawmakers. (OHHH, A “GOVERNMENT VACCINE SCIENTIST,” THAT’S ALL I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HIM. SCUMBAG!)
Bright’s appearance came after his ouster last month as head of a Health and Human Services biodefense agency, an action he alleges was retaliation by the Trump administration. (Daily Mail says He said his demotion was thanks to him refusing to broadly green light the use of drugs hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine.)
“We need still a comprehensive plan, and everyone across the government and everyone in America needs to know what that plan is, and what role they play,” he told the House Energy and Commerce Committee. “There are critical steps that we need to do to prepare ... we do not still have enough personal protective equipment to manage our health care workers ... we still do not have the supply chains ramped up for the drugs and vaccines, and we still don’t have plans in place for how we distribute those drugs and vaccines. We still do not have a comprehensive testing strategy.”
(Daily Mail) He quoted mask-maker Mike Bowen and said, “Congressman I'll never forget the emails I received from Mike Bowen indicating that our mask supplier, N95 respirator supplier, was completely decimated and he said 'WE'RE IN DEEP **** (AP SPELLED THE WHOLE WORD!!! CLASSLESS!!!), the world is, and we need to act.’" PSH. Melo-drama, amiright? HE GOES ON: “And I pushed that forward to the highest levels I could in HHS and got no response. From that moment I knew that we were going to have a crisis for our health care workers because we were not taking action.” SELF-RIGHTEOUS PHONINESS, is how it reads. I haven’t watched or listened to this guy.
At the White House, President Donald Trump said Bright looked like an “angry, disgruntled employee,” and Bright’s boss, HHS Secretary Alex Azar, said, “Everything he is complaining about was achieved.” Azar added: “So this is like somebody who was in a choir and is now trying to say he was a soloist back then,” Azar added.
But the ridiculous commie anti-American AP says: “Bright spoke in measured tones and rarely raised his voice during five hours of questioning.” HA! Lorrrd. THAT’S HOW YOU THINK HE’S HONEST? THAT’S HOW I KNOW HE’S A SNAKE! He didn’t question the fact that there’s now an all-out effort, financed by billions in taxpayer dollars, to procure masks and other supplies, develop better tests and treatments and discover an effective vaccine. His point was that those efforts aren’t being fitted together in a coherent strategy that will get supplies and medicines to where they’re most needed to protect people and prevent shortages and price gouging.
Asked by Rep. Joe Kennedy, D-Mass., if administration officials have prepared the country for the “moment we are in” and the months ahead, Bright responded, “I think we have a lot of work to do to be prepared.”
…. Republican lawmakers for the most part were careful not to attack Bright directly. CUCKS!!!! But Rep. Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma criticized him for continuing to collect his $285,000 salary while first on sick leave for a spike in blood pressure, and now on vacation as he tries to straighten out his work situation. “You’re too sick to go into work, but you’re well enough to come here while getting paid,” said Mullin. “I have a hard time understanding that.”
Bright, who has a doctoral degree in immunology, said the nation’s path forward should be based on science. ANYONE WHO SAYS THAT IS A SLEAZY POLITICALLY MOTIVATED, POWER-HUNGRY, FEMALE-MINDED PERSON. SCIENCE SUPREMACIST…. This man’s phony steps include:
— Establishing a national testing strategy. The White House has urged states to take the lead on testing, even as the federal government pushes to make more tests and better ones widely available. Trump says the U.S. has “prevailed” on testing through this strategy, but in Congress Democrats are demanding a federal framework to encompass the whole nation. CONGRESS DEMOCRATS ARE TRASH. CONTROL FREAKS. NOT TO BE TRUSTED. EVER.
— Doubling down on educating the public about basic safety measures such as frequent hand-washing and wearing masks in public places. “Frankly, our leaders must lead by modeling the behavior,” said Bright, in a not-too-subtle reference to a president who conspicuously goes maskless. THANK GOD! Told you this “Bright” guy is WEAK, and not bright at all!
— Setting up a system to fairly distribute equipment and supplies that are scarce and highly sought. Eliminating state vs. state competition would increase efficiency and reduce costs. OH YES, FEDERAL REDISTRIBUTION AND RATIONING. COMMIE.

(Drudge) Trump visits another mask facility -- without wearing a mask… LOVE IT! THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP! (Centre Daily… spelled the British way) Trump toured Owen & Minor Inc. in Allentown and also spoke about the administration’s work in distributing personal protective equipment (PPE) during the pandemic, The Hill reported. Owen & Minor Inc. has sent millions of surgical gowns, N95 respirator masks, and gloves to hospitals, according to NBC.
Trump was photographed touring the facility with no mask while others were wearing them. In his first visit outside of Washington D.C. since the pandemic started, on May 5 Trump traveled to a Honeywell mask plant in Arizona without wearing a mask, CNN reported. “I had a mask on for a period of time,” Trump said at the time, according to CNN. “I had it on back — backstage. But they said you didn’t need it, so, I didn’t need it. And by the way, if you noticed, nobody else had it on that was in the group.”
In early April, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended people wear face masks when “other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.”
(Drudge) TRUMP VOWS MILITARY WILL DISTRIBUTE 'VACCINE'... when it’s ready... HOPEFULLY NOT BY FORCE! I AIN’T TAKING IT! (THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS AIN’T!) (Far-left CBS News) trump said they’d be focusing first on nursing homes and the elderly most vulnerable to deadly complications from the virus. Mr. Trump made the comments during an interview with Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo.
"We're mobilizing our military and other forces but we're mobilizing our military on the basis that we do have a vaccine. You know, it's a massive job to give this vaccine. Our military is now being mobilized so at the end of the year we're going to be able to give it to a lot of people very, very rapidly," the president said.
"We will have a tremendous force because assuming we get it, then you have to distribute it," he added. "And unless you're mobilized and ready, you're not going to be able to do it for a long time. So we're starting now."
The president said he expects a vaccine to be available by the end of this year, while many experts — including Coronavirus Task Force member Dr. Anthony Fauci — say it will take at least 12 to 18 months.
The virus has killed more than 84,000 Americans so far (SUPPOSEDLY)... "We will lose over 100,000, perhaps, in this country," the president said Thursday.
A CBS News poll released Thursday shows 43% of Americans think the president is doing a good job handling the virus, down from 48% in April and 53% in March. SMH liberal media pushing anti-Trump propaganda.
Most Americans also don't trust the president for information about the virus, the poll found. Only 38% of Americans said they do, compared with 61% who trust their governor and 62% who trust Fauci. PSH! DUMMIES!

SPEAKING OF FORCE… (Drudge) Mom arrested in violent NYPD confrontation after refusing to wear mask… (there’s that word “Mom” again… the 22-year-old mother Kaleemah Rozier looked black to me, she had a young child with her, walking.) (NBC NY) Mayor Bill de Blasio included the video in a tweet condemning the confrontation. "She responded to the officers with vulgar language and repeatedly refused requests to properly wear her face covering over her nose and mouth," the NYPD said. Rozier can be heard yelling and cursing at the officers in the video as she was being escorted out of the subway station. She and some of the officers were off-camera when she screamed, "Don't touch me." The video then showed Rozier slapping away one of the officers' hands, and that's when officers moved in, took her to the ground and placed her in handcuffs.
One witness can be heard in the video expressing disapproval: "she got a baby with her — that’s too much."
The NYPD said the officers acted "appropriately and with respect," and that Rozier was only arrested after her behavior warranted action.
Blacks always escalating. De Blasio tweeted: Face coverings are important to protect everybody — they’re not optional. But no one wants to see an interaction turn into this. We’ve made progress with de-escalation. This isn’t it.
