**Boy Scouts GONE!

— Roger A. Krone (not a Christian? Previously of Boeing), president and CEO of the Boy Scouts of America, announcing Tuesday that the organization is changing its name to Scouting America. The youth organization said the new name is meant to help everyone, including boys and girls, feel welcome.
What’s getting a rebrand… The Boy Scouts of America. After 114 years, the organization is changing its name to Scouting America in an effort to foster inclusion. The new name comes as the organization has faced controversy in recent years, with Boy Scouts paying $150 million to settle SUPPOSED abuse lawsuits (probably attracted LGBTs) and subsequently filing for bankruptcy in 2020. The name change is another shift for the group, which recently reversed its policy banning gay troops and leaders, in addition to allowing girls to join. There are just over 1 million “kids” (as in children) enrolled in Boy Scouts [down from nearly 2M in 2019, down from over 4M in the 70s, when the shameless LGBTs started coming for them… CEO Roger Krone got his Eagle Scout status in 1973.[9]].

From the unreliable witness stand on Tuesday, this female dished out salacious details of her alleged sexual encounter (detail for which there’s no evidence) with former President Donald Trump (after they supposedly met at a celebrity golf tournament in 2006).
She claims to have had S with him even though she reportedly had signed a statement saying she NEVER did. She said she felt “an imbalance of power” [being around Trump] and that the experience left her shaken. Daniels testified she received $130,000 from Trump’s then-lawyer (the rat and turncoat Michael Cohen, not a Christian) for her EXTORTION just days before the 2016 election.
Some of the recounted moments that Daniels described were so explicit the judge cut her off at several points — Trump’s lawyer called for a mistrial, saying Daniels’ testimony included details that were outside the scope of the trial. The judge denied the request, even though he agreed some things were “better left unsaid.”
NOT READ: Trump was cursing and shaking his head during Daniels’ testimony, according to the trial transcript. Trump apparently acted out. The judge had to privately ask lawyers to stop the former president from “cursing audibly” and shaking his head. At one point, Trump appeared to say “that's bulls***” when she said something. This female is expected to resume her “testimony” tomorrow.
SPEAKING OF JOKES OF A TRIAL: Also Tuesday, a federal judge indefinitely postponed Trump’s “classified documents” trial, citing significant issues around classified evidence that would need to be worked out before the federal criminal case goes before a jury.

(CNN or theSkimm Wed 5-8-24) The body of the sixth — and believed to be the final — victim killed in the March 26 Baltimore bridge collapse was recovered Tuesday, marking a grim milestone in the weekslong recovery operation. The Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed after a massive cargo vessel lost power and slammed into the structure, killing six construction workers repairing potholes on it (IMAGINE THAT!). Officials said the workers were immigrants from four countries: Honduras, El Salvador, Mexico and Guatemala. Several investigations are underway to determine why the cargo ship lost power and who might be responsible.

According to the American Cancer Society, [b]lack women are more likely to die of breast, cervical, and endometrial cancers than white women. Now, what may be the largest study of its kind is trying to find out why. The American Cancer Society will be tracking 100,000 [b]lack women across 20 states. The participants — who must be cancer-free at the start of the study — will be followed over 30 years, with doctors assessing their lifestyle choices, experiences with racism, and how these factors play a role in their cancer risk. The study comes as [b]lack women have been underrepresented in clinical trials and have faced a history of discrimination in health care.
*Gaza drama
(CNN or theSkimm Wed 5-8-24) The US has paused a shipment of bombs to Israel amid concerns over their potential use in the southern Gaza city of Rafah, where more than a million civilians are sheltering. “We are especially focused on the end-use of the 2,000-pound bombs and the impact they could have in dense urban settings as we have seen in other parts of Gaza,” a US official said. Since Monday, Israeli airstrikes have killed at least 27 people, including nine children, in Rafah, according to medical officials. Israeli leaders have warned that military operations in the southern city will continue until Hamas is eliminated from “the entire Gaza Strip,” or until the first hostage returns.
